Cartridge Rescue are proud to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service helping us to look after our Outback Neighbours and Dani Samuels Australian Women’s Discus thrower.

Royal Flying Doctor Service

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) relies on the generosity of the community and companies to help provide free of charge emergency and primary healthcare to rural and remote Australia. Our donation goes towards providing vital but expensive equipment like:
  • Foetal heart monitors
  • Ventilators
  • Defibrillators to re-kick a failed heart

Our donation will also help to keep the Flying Doctor flying by funding aircraft replacement for their fleet of 50 aircraft. The RFDS aeroplanes are amongst the safest in the world flying more than 7 million kilometres in their lifetime.

The Flying Doctor also provides a wide range of free healthcare clinics from Mental Health, Women’s Child & Family Health, Indigenous Health and Dental Health along with providing specialists in paediatrics, ophthalmology, radiology and speech pathology.

Dani Samuels

Cartridge Rescue supports Local athlete Dani Samuels who has already won the World Youth and World Junior Championship for discus and qualified at only 20yrs old for the  Beijing Olympic finals.

We wish to congratulate Dani Samuels Australia’s newest World Champion, beating her personal best by more than 2.5metres, Dani threw 65.44metres and became the youngest discus medalist in world championship history.

In order to compete at this level she needs lots of support to travel to Europe for high level competitions prior to the Championships.

Dani is well on track for the 2012 London Games.
